"Da Plane" has landed. In a very realistic turn of events, Ricardo Montalban has passed from this island of life to the next. No longer will we be able to buy a plane ticket on a small charter plane to fly off to an imaginary island where our most deeply desired fantasies become reality. We will, unfortunately, have to make do with the realities we already have.

I've always wondered how much those magical fantasies would cost in todays $? I suppose I'll never know. I'll also never forget Saturday nights with the "Love Boat" followed by "Fantasy Island."
I have to agree. Saturday nights on TV when we were kids were magic.
